I have a 1962 Merc 60 that I just rebuild the carb and replaced the fuel pump diaphragms and fuel lines on. I am having trouble
1) getting the idler needle set correctly
2) having it surge from low rpm to high rpm with very little throttle.
Runs With very minor bogging at full throttle on the water, but I can't seem to get the it stay at a steady idle.
Are these two issues related do you think?
What do suggest is the cause for the surging of RPM?
All help appreciated!!!! Gotta get on the water! Thanks
