Guys,
Thanks to your help I managed to get my boat started and plaining out ......... yipee!
Now for the next questions......
I have trouble initially starting the engine. the only way it starts is to squirt "Easy Start" straight into the carb. Ideas?
Also, it will only run well without the engine cover on. To rich?
Third, the air filter seems to be a multi layer affair soaked in some sort of grease. Is this right? do you clean it? how do you clean it? or do you replace it?
Lastly, how critical to good running are the many vaccum lines? they all look intact but none of them seem to be a really tight fit, and none have jubilee / hose clamps fitted. Is this right?
any thoughts are appreciated.
