Well, I've given it some thought and realized starting a restoration thread may actually help motivate me to finish the restoration project...or at least give me a place to go and complain about how s l o w the project is moving...:facepalm: I'd already posted pics of the boat I bought at the beginning of July (BUT I ALSO HAVE READ and REREAD numerous comments clambering for pics!)

So, here it is almost month later and what progress have I made? No, really, can anyone tell me? JK
I have removed all the interior (or what was there), stripped the hull (mostly, still have a few minor areas to get to), yanked the transom (and, just like in the song "Drive" by the one and only, Mr. Alan Jackson, "the transom was rotten" :facepalm: But that's ok....I've read a few threads on replacing it....breathe in....breathe out....move on......having issues with pictures...:grumpy:

I did something MOST boat buyers probably wouldn't do: bought boat without trailer...:facepalm: but I remedied THAT issue yesterday...or the day before....nightshift affects my memory...or was it something else? Anyway...pics to follow (I see you over there with the pitch fork and the crazed look chanting "we want pics!")

Something else you did. Got a tinny with a lifeboat almost as big as the mother ship. :lol:

Glad you got a trailer so you can move her around. I won't ask for more pics. Cuz someone else will.

What model do ya have? Welcome to the Tin Drydock.

Did you buy that boat in northern KY? It looks like the one I was trying to get a buddy to buy a few weeks back.
