1963 Johnson 40 HP Coil/Pistion Relationship

I just got done replacing all the ignition parts on my engine and I made only one error.....I did not write down which coil fires which piston. Does anybody know? I looked in my manual and it did not tell me. Does the port coil fire the top or bottom piston?

if u wired it the right way again. i believe the coil closest to the carb is the top piston. again unsure. i think u might have to trace ur spark plug wire back to the coil

Correct - front-most coil fires top cylinder.
