Hello! This beauty came with my "new" sailboat yesterday. I will be using in saltwater. I see a "Water Flush" label (see attached), but... how do I use it properly? Is there a port to open, or a hose to attach? I could not find an explanation in online documentation. Thank you!

There is a fitting you can either make or acquire that allows you to hook up a garden hose to that hole under the large flat-head screw. To make one should only require basic hardware store fittings and tubing.

However, the BEST way to flush that motor is to run it in a vat of freshwater after every saltwater use.

^^^^like he says... but that opening under the big flat head screw is pretty useful on the Lightwins. Can open it briefly to check flow while running (heavy volume if the pump is doing its thing.) And good for flushing as described.
