Ok, so there's a long story surrounding this but I'll get right to the point.

I had this motor running and running pretty well (for the first time since I've owned it) a couple weeks ago. It was running finally, so we took it out. No problems. Shut it down and started it back up a few times. Brought it home, started it with the earmuffs for a thorough flush. No problems.

A couple of days later, I went out to tinker with the timing, to see if I could get it just right because it had been just a tiny bit off. I couldn't get it to start. It didn't even seem to be firing. Checked the spark on all 6...just fine. As I was taking them out, I checked the plugs to see if they had anything to say. There was gas on them from cranking the engine but other than that, they were fine.

So it's seems to be getting at least some gas and has spark but there's no pop...

I thought about timing, but I didn't change anything since it was last running, so that doesn't seem like it could be the culprit.

Loss of compression also doesn't seem right (since it was running fine before) but I don't have much - well, any - experience with two strokes.

Input anyone?
