Hi All,

I'm getting ready to take on the job of rewiring my 63 Niagra and I have a few questions. I have never wired anything before but have the basic understanding that red is hot or + and black is negative -. I run a positive and negative wire from my battery ( with an inline fuse on the positive side close to the battery). My first question is....how do I tap into those wires for my stern light and how do I get the bow light and stern light to turn on by pulling the light switch. I did get one of these but not quite sure how it works.

Run a lead from the terminal (thing you have in the pic) to one side of the switch. From the other side of the switch, run the wire to the light. Always run the positive wire through your switch. The other wire on the light, run to the ground.
