I've got a new project, hasn't run in a few years. ID # 574.60121. Would like to see if it will run, don't have fuel line, fitting or tank. Have barrel to put motor in, I saw some where on this site someone clamped a hose on their motor fitting. Any ideas on how to feed gas down the gas line?

you need a proper fuel tank and line and primer bulb, then clamp it on...

Mrcrabs is right, you can use any single line tank on that one. It doesn't have a plunger on the engine side. You can remove the fitting from the hose and clamp it TIGHTLY to the fitting. You can use a small Mercury fitting on the fuel hose on that one too. It works.
The only other way you could possibly do it is with a lawnmower tank hung above the level of the motor, if you have one hanging around. You would still maybe need a primer bulb though............

I have a 1959 Scott 25, just restored it. Hard to find Scott fuel connectors so I did the obvious: you can buy OMC or Mercury connectors and install them. You won't be able
to bolt the connector to the motor, so just run the fuel line out any hole in the lower cowling and let the connector hang free. Be certain to replace all rubber fuel lines first because ethanol in the gasoline will cause the fuel line to disintegrate, micro-sized particles will then clog small passages in the carburetor (go to an auto parts store for adequate fuel line).
