I just recently got a 1964 8 HP Sea King. I havent checked the motor yet because it has a bent motor mount. The guy at the boat shop said it would cost more to fix than it was worth. I was wanting to know what the best way to go was? Try to sell for parts on ebay or try to straighten a little and weld crack on motor mount. Either way I am going to try to get started. Thanks
<br /><br />Check with Twin City Outboard. You may be able to get a used mount at a decent price. I don't have much enthusiasm for welded cast alloy parts that have to be strong.<br /><br />Good luck.
