1964 evinrude water output

I have an 1964 evinrude lighttwin (3hp). As far as know, the rubber impeller was replaced just before I bought it (about January). Does anybody know where the water comes out so I can test?

Hi Yamaha, <br /><br />On my little 63 model, the water exits into the exaust housing. no telltale.<br /><br />P.S. You might want to make your Avatar a bit smaller.

There are some small holes about half way up the back side of the lower unit. Your motor is the same as mine. Check out my 3 HP Tune Up Site http://outboard-boat-motor-repair.com and see what else you can do to make that thing run like a top.
