Good Morning, I have a Deauville Lone Star boat with a 1964 Johnson Super Sea Horse. This was a project .boat that I got done. The motor had not run for 15yr and the whole thing sat out in the weather. The junction box was under water.
I took it apart and cleaned and repaired all connections and took the voltage regulator and replaced it with a OMC old new stock.
I t5ook it out with a fully charged battery and ran it in the river for 12 miles. the amp meter never showed a charge or discharge. This motor has a electric shift which uses electrical coils to keep it in gear, I had no problems and when I came home I checked the battery voltage, 12.4 volts I think its good but I would like your opinion.
One more thing will the generator be cutout from charging on a full battery?
Thanks
The Beef
