I bought a boat with a 1964 mercury 500 long shaft that had sat for 13 years, i took apart the magneto cleaned and reassembled. i rebuilt the two carbs and she fired up in a matter of seconds. i have played around with the carbs for about 4 hours now and cant get it to have a slow idle. the engine slows as if its good then dies 15 seconds or so after leaning the mixture. gas pools in the bottom carb. what do i do? thanks
