Hi all you MFG boaters ! Sorry i am new to this on line forum stuff. My 80 year old mother has given me my fathers old MFG. I really like the style! It still has the fiberglass hardtop that is in pretty good shape. The floor seems to be solid. The transom is gone so i am looking into seacast. My idea is mount a fiberglass motor bracket with small swim deck. It had a 4 stroke homelite years ago then dad put a 70 hrs crysler on it. I plan on installing something a little newer and more reliable. Hope to post pics soon.:

I just acquired what I believe is a 1964 MFG Custom. I do not have the hard top and it has what I know to be a 1964 Evinrude 90 hp on it. I hope to post pics later....I really do not know how to post anything as of now. Please let me know if this thing post,:joyous:

Wow Redfishingfun I forgot I started this thread years ago ! I let this one die when I started my restoration . When you see the red bar at the bottom of the page it means you should not post on it unless it was the thread that you started . No biggy it happens all the time .
Here is a link to my restoration thread . http://forums.iboats.com/boat-resto.../mfg-rebuild-getting-started-pics-523969.html I hope you start a thread if you plan on doing some work to your MFG ! You should also join us over on the MFG forum .
Welcome aboard !!
