1964 Sportwin 9.5 hp carb cleaner

Part #2 is this, I was told to use Sea Foam gas additive to clean the carb out before using the carb rebuild kit. Any of you have any luck with the Sea Foam product?<br /><br />I just bought this motor and have no idea how long the fuel has been in it. It didn't like to run at low idle. <br /><br />I did have a tune up done.

Middleground,<br /><br />I had bought the carb rebuild kit, but before I use it a couple people said to try the sea foam (to see if it helps clean out the carb) So that I don't need to rebuild.<br /><br />I think that I'll still end up rebuilding the carb.
