Running a 1965 Starflite 90S.. while running with garden hose for one to two minutes at higher rpm's (not sure why..another story), cylinders were Very hot to the touch
I mean, it did not burn me, but I would not leave it there for more than 1 or 2 seconds. I do not have an infrared thermometer... The dash has an over heat warning light and I checked the bulb... which is "good".. I do not know if the sensor is good too...
Saw water "spitting" out but not a steady stream... I inspected the water pump and the impeller seems healthy.
Any thoughts?
Where the heck is the thermostat on this thing?
Please don't tell me I need to remove the power head to check it...
Thoughts?
