I have a new problem.
The fuel leak in the lake is fixed so Al Gore can rest easy tonight.
I now can get almost on plane and the out drive slips out of gear.Before it started slipping the motor raised out of the water like we had hit something.2 people in the boat did not hear or feel anything(no alcohol involved). The shear pin in the prop is slitely bent but still intact. It is the electric shift model 75 horsepower Starflite. 1965 model. I checked the lower unit oil and it is clean.
Any insite would be helpful.
