1965 Evinrude 75 HP

I need help. I have a 1965 Evinrude 75 HP motor, given to me. I have cleaned all fuel systems. When I tried to start there is no power to the starter. All wiring has been changed, new starter switch and new starter solenoid. Power to the solenoid and power coming out of solenoid but no power to the starter. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you have power (12+ volts) going to the main starter wire, then it should turn over. Can you turn the flywheel by hand when the spark plugs are removed? This determines if the powerhead is frozen up or not. If it's free, try jumping out the starter. Jump from the main wire going to the starter from the battery, to the main wire going to the starter, thereby bypassing the selonoid. Let us know if it turns over this way.
