Here's a rare one. Only 8 were built, 70 in 66 and 10 in 67. The model was then rebadged and sold as the Corsair Sea V
Original power was 283F or 327F, the former with 185 hp and the latter with 210. Speeds of 38-mph are quoted.
I previously owned a 35' wood Sea Skiff, and never knew CC built a short run of glass Sea Skiffs, but this is the proof right here ! We found this one in New York Finger Lake region, and had it shipped to Nashville, where it is undergoing a complete "frame up" restoration. Here is a relevant link showing the specs for the boat http://www.network54.com/Forum/424840/message/1163631914/
Here is a link showing the beginning series of restoration photos http://www.network54.com/Forum/424840/message/1162683753/
Here is a link showing some additional progress steps encountered so far with the restoration of this great looking hull. http://www.network54.com/Forum/424840/message/1166307789/
I've been busting my chops on this project over the last several months now. All instruments are out and being restored. New steering is being installed, NFB Teleflex, due to old rack and pinion being frozen up. Motor runs (hope you saw the video in the reference links). All new flooring and floor structure is going in, and all new vinyl.
A boy has to have a hobby!
So many boats, so little time !!!!
