Hello all,
This is my first post so please bear with me.

Could anyone please tell me what the head bolts on my outboard should be torqued to and in what pattern?I had to heli-coil one of my spark plug holes and am replacing the head gasket.

Also I'm looking for the tiller arm and throttle assembly for the same motor. It was originally installed in the hull of a sailboat which they used the rudder to steer with.I have the original parts to pull upwards to start it and the stumpy throttle control(trade?).

Thanks for any help,
Charlie

108 in/lbs (9 ft/lbs), in three rounds (1/2, 3/4, full torque). Start in the center and criss cross to the ends; top and bottom. Put nothing on the head gasket, but lube your bolts for an accurate torque.
You should get yourself a manual. It is an *extremely* worthwhile investment. I've got a Seloc for those years & I'm happy with it.
