I just happend to get a 1966 Boston Whaler, 13' 6" and was wondering if anybody has any idea if these were good boats, wether they are worth restoring, and just any tips on it. It has a 50 HP Evinrude, (1972) on it and it seems to be a great little rig. Thanks for any comments

One of the great ones, JonnyB. A real classic and probably worth restoring. Would have to see pix to advise further.

Get that 50 off of her and power her according to the HP rating. . . .20hp with tiller, 40hp with remote. It is a truly dangerous boat with 50hp and bloody fast with 40. I was very happy with 25hp on mine.

Go to the Classic Whaler site, continuouswave.com for more info that you ever dreamed of and more advice from Whaler nuts than you can read in a week.

Good luck. :)
