1966 Johnson 6 HP outboard

I have had the subject outboard for all my life. Bought new. Son dropped it the last trip to the pier and broke the tube that holds the yoke on that hold the clamps to the transom. Need to find: another parts motor, or pieces part to fix it. Model No. CD-23E<br /> Serial NO. J2611043<br />Can someone help me. Have one or know where to get one. Will other years fit mine. I can take pics and send to anyone that can help me find parts. Thanks

tcoutboards.com will have it. I think you could use one from any 6hp Johnson/Evinrude up to about '77. Any other outboard graveyard would certainly have it too. If you can find a local one you'll probably get the best deal there.
