1966 merc 1100 ss fuel oil mix

Bought a boat with this motor will turn over easily but wont start, been sitting awhile, suspect bad gas. anyone know correct fuel oil mix for this motor and any other hints to get to start. thanks so much

Ayuh,... It takes Fuel, Fire, Compression,+ All at the right Time to run,...
You're missing 1 of the 4....

A quart of oil, in 6 gallons of gas will get you going..

What Bond-o said, except I would use a pint of oil (50:1).

Go to the Engine FAQs Forum and do "Outboard won't start" to find out why she won't.
