Hello , Once again I turn to the I-Boat forums for advise. I just had a Super Seahorse 33 HP model rx-14 [and I think that's a D at the end] gave to me. I got it running today , it has only a pull starter. I would like to know if I could adapt this for electric start. perhaps a flywheel from a 28 ,35, or 40 horse motor.does anyone know if they are interchangeable ? I know I would have to buy a starter and the bracket to mount it but my flywheel has no ring gear on it.

You can replace the blank ring with a toothed one, or you can replace the whole flywheel. Ring gear with teeth was part number 308852, listed as no longer available. 35hp is not compatible, but the 28 and 40, 1962-up probably are. You would have to compare numbers to be certain. 1961 and earlier are definitely out of the question.
