Motor runs great, but I can not reach the shift lever on the side...What have you guys done that have my same issue? I have a 1967 18ft starcraft holiday so their is a cover type thing at the back of the boat, and then the kicker plate is behind that so its really far out. Anything helps! here is a pic of the motor, sadly I dont have on of it on the boat because its at my folks house.
