motor only wants to run when you advance the timing all the way forward.are the points adjusted wrong.the motor was rebuilt by someone else.it as spark,a new carb and reed valves.also new rings and honed.<br /> thanks-you<br /> jim

if i don't advance the timing it doesn't want to start.also how many turns do i turn the lean&rich screw!that is the only adjustment on my carb.I thought that was kind of strange.but i am not real educated on boat carbs.if the mag is the problem.how do i set it up.or is there a web page that will help me out.Thank-you very much for all your help.i hope that i can return the help to other boaters that you have done for me.<br /> thank-you<br /> jim
