Get ready for sticker shock on these old, smaller connecters. They are surprisingly expensive. I haven't found an alternative, except maybe if you luck out in a local boat shop "bone yard" or someone who has one lying around. Maybe ebay.

But I do know you can find one (at least last time I needed one) at www.oldmercs.com. Search through their inventory in the year range of your motor and they will list fuel connectors, clearly described as the smaller type for older, small engines.

this connector will fit your motor, i just ordered one as well for my 1970 9.8 and it fits fine, this is a good site, even though they are a tad pricey

Well you said your merc 110 is 1967 or 68, and the product description says it fits 62-71. What's the question? In case you don't know, the merc 110 is 9.8 hp, so it fits right in there. There are only two sizes that I am familar with: "regular"/current standard size and small, you need the small one, just like the oldmercs site says.

If you're still uncomfortable (I dont blame you, $50 is a lot for such a minor part!), just call the company (I think it's called east coast marine?), they are good.
