1967 centerion 16' w/120 mercruiser

thinking about buying this boat what is good compression its a 4cylinder mercruiser 120 I also noticed it does not have power trim on the outdrive. guy said he could not get spark now he got spark and timming is off thinking it could be 180 out? says comp is at 140psi on all 4 is this good comp for these inboards or should they be around 180 like a car motor
