A friend has what we think is a 67, 9.5 Evinrude. According to him a piece is broken off the fuel pump, where the line goes in, and it leaks.

Any chance of finding that part? If so where? I did a parts search here and come up with nothing.

Thanks, Jeff

Re: 1967 E parts?

"We think is a 1967" isn't good enough. You have to know what year it is, not guess. Furthermore, you have to know if it has the original fuel pump.

OK, lets just assume both answers are yes. In that case, are you talking about the filter cap? Or the hose nipples? The filter cap is part number 311203, and the gasket is 311202. Both are available from any Evinrude dealer. Or anyplace on-line that sells genuine Evinrude factory parts. But if it is the hose nipple that is cracked, that is part of the pump and you have to buy a complete pump.

Having said all that, some pumps have the inlet hose nipple as part of the filter cap. That is replaceable (different number than I just gave you). The fuel outlet hose nipple is part of the pump and not replaceable.

Again-------- you need to know what you have, and exactly what is broken.

I'll start with this info.... and figure out the part as I go along, too many irons in the fire today BUT.... the plate thats almost gone gives 2 numbers on the motor. Cowling says 9.5 Numbers are 9722M and E03728

Parts wise I'm sorry but I may have to take pics and figure out how to download...

Thatnks for the patience! I have not seen the motor yet.
