1967 Eska 5hp model 1165 timing/points

I'm an old man just getting started refurbishing Eska, Sears, Ted William's outboard. Electronics is has me stumped.
Seized pistion.. I ordered a used powerhead and I will re-install original timing plate/speed controller. I need step by step info on how to set timing/points.
