I have a 1967 Lightwin 3 hp that was running like new last Saturday I went fishing and it ran great. On Monday I went out again and it ran great but after a bit it seemed to be losing power so I turned around and headed back it soon quit, I primed it again and it started but began losing power. I knew if I kept pumping the bulb it would run, I pumped it for over 2 miles to get back to the ramp. Then on Tuesday I took it to a fresh water pond to flush it out and when I plugged the line into the tank a lot of gas came out much more that ever before, I ran it to flush it out and had to prime it to run then it started running on it's own. Went back to the ramp and ran the fuel out of the carb. Next time I tried to run it was today. No fuel ran out when I plugged it in but it would start at all either plugged in to the tank or when I switched to the motor's tank sounds like fuel pump and something else
