hey guys, just want to let you know I stuck with the original points, condenser coil system..
found a complete set of coils , points on ebay that came off a 6 hp .
now after all that, I have some how misplaced the flywheel nut..it may have dropped to the floor on got swept up..
very frustrating..i went on line but all I could get is part numbers..went to the local hardware store and could not find the correct size nut.
its a locking nylock style, but I will just use a lock washer if I can find the right size.
does anyone know what size that nut is?(the nut that goes on the top of crank and holds flywheel down)
is it metric or s.a.e.? I know its a fine thread but the store has nothing to match.

by the way a bunch of 6 hp, 7.5 as well as 9.8 hp have the same over a bunch of years
