Hi got lucky (I think) and bought a 1967 SeaRay SRV 170 with trailr (no engine) for 100.00.
I believe the deck and transom are solid glass without any wood. Steering is there as well as an Evinrude throttle assembly. All good, needs seats and a motor.
Any info on this model SeaRay ?
Thanks

Re: 1967 SeaRay srv170

hi.....welcome to i boats.

searay is a fantastic boat. especially the late 60's

your deck and transom ARE wood, so are the stringers.
they are fiberglassed and gellcoated over so it just looks like they are glass....

i would do some core sample tests to see if it is sound and not rotted.

but any way you cut it,,,,you scored.

btw...if you go to searay.com you can down load the orignal brochures for the boat....

other than that...what do you want to know?
i am intmately framilliar with late sixties searays

Hi again,

I need to replace the seats in the Searay.
My model had the bench in the stern and single buckets in the front.

It appears that they were bolted directly to the deck.

Any diagrams for the rear woulod be helpful.

This boat just has a super nice look to it.

Than:)ks
