I have a 1968 Seafarer that I love for a number of reasons, depth, capacity, durability, HP capability and trailering. Here is the problem. The boat has a deep straight line bow and I wish to mount a MK Powerdrive on the bow. I need to use the Co=pilot because I have partially fused ankles and operating a foot pedal is tough. Looking for ideas to overcome the limitations of the bow line, mounting and the fact the bow doesn't curve back much towards the keel. I willi be doing a makeover of this boat to fit my angling needs for inland Midwest lakes. The biggest headache is this first. Thoughts?

PICTURES! Not everyone is familiar with this boat. Can't offer advise if we have no idea of what your dealing with.

I believe the problem you are trying to overcome is that the Seafarer is an open utility type hull and have no where to mount a bow TM, Pics what you're working with is the first step to clear that up.

Going on the above assumption I'll suggest adding a small deck in the bow at the same height as the gunwhale to give you a mounting point.
