Hey guys I'm the one the had no forward gear, I was wondering if you all knew whether you can or not turn the clutch dog around without hurting the gears? The clutch dogs lobes were kinda rounded but the other side of the lobes are fine. Thanks for the help, Bryan

Bryan, the pics in the parts book look like you can.If you look at it,and both sides look the same, try it.Problem is the lobes in forward gear are probably also damaged.

DHP

Bryan,

I have the same year and model engine. I just called twin city outboards and got the parts I needed at a very reasonable price. It did look like I could turn it around but I like having reverse.
