I took on rebuilding one that had been taken apart by the owner because the gear case was leaking...
Never again!...LOL!

Ready to assemble the gear case and it is missing 1 roller from the input shaft bearing...
I tracked down the complete bearing for 150 bucks just to get one part of it!
Original bearing is in great shape what a shame!

When I was a kid I took marine mechanics at a vocational school. We often took in motors that were taken apart by their owners and were dropped off in box’s. It’s was a nightmare but at the same time we learned a lot.

There is nothing special on that bearing.----Take the number to a local bearing place and get it for $10 or so.
