1968 40hp BigTwin Timing

Hi Guy's, <br /><br />Simple question I hope....<br /><br />Which mark should I be lining up to do my link and sync. The manual (factory) shows a cross mark to line up with. My cam has two parallel lines. Any idea's? <br /><br />

Put it in between the two lines just as the throttle movement begins.
