I was out on the lake last weekend and I found a stump at full speed. Must've been more of a tree actually because there was 25 feet of water. Anyways it siezed my leg, so I changed that but now my engine will start up but its acting like the timing is very off. Would the seized leg have caused the flywheel pin to snap or would the force have caused the timing belt to jump a tooth or two? I tried to check the pin but the flywheel wont budge even with a puller. If you think its the pin is there a good way to force the flywheel off ie: heat, banging... I didn't want to try anything before asking here.

Remove the bolt with the 5/16 head on the top of the mag drive under the plate, you will find a small arrow cast in the wheel on one of the spokes, turn the flywheel to TDC and the arrow should line up with the mark on the flywheel---Bob
