HI i'm wondering if a flywheel from a 69 will bolt on to the 68 as i can't find a starter for the 68?

As i can't seem to find a starter for my 1968 55873r could i change over the flywheel to the 69 model and use a 69 starter instead as i can get this 9 tooth starter? Thanks
