did a compression test all 3 cylinders hold 120. the motor has been sitting since 1994. the fuel was amazing. I flished it out used some cleaner on the carbs have not pulled them yet she wants to fire but it just pops. couls the carbs cause this it kina scares me hoping its not a timming issue bou how could that be right? no way to adjust it is there? thanks

having a hard time finding repair manual on this motor its model# 55873 would prefer one just on this motor anyone have a link or seen one. I still have this concern about timming. Im very skilled on cars but outbaords are I know are different. I banging my head thinking how could timming be off? its either on or the keyway has snapped correct? when I go to fire her she pops and blows smoke rings. all 3 cylinders are getting great spark. Im hoping this pop is a fuel issue I would think it has to be. any input? thanks
