I'm getting a spark, new spark plugs, and just cleaned the heck out of the carburetor but I can't get the thing to start. I'm getting gas at the carburetor. While spraying carb cleaner into low idle jets I could see that fuel was spraying. Detached fuel line and turned over engine and fuel flowed to carburetor. Any suggestions?

I had an old 68 sears that had the same problem. Except mine was the saftey switch. Might be something going on there. I don't know if that motor of yours would be equipped with such a device.

Try spraying some fuel mix into the carb and see if it runs for a few seconds. If it does 'pop' you may have a fuel delivery problem, recheck the carb. If it doesn't run, check the compression.
