Hey all long time no see LOL. Well WooHoo . i finished the outside hull paint, installed the fishing platform and mounted my down-riggers and also applied the graphics . I was gonna wait till next year to do the paint (actually I will get it professionally done next year and replace the graphics their not that expensive) . I still am have the damnest time tryring to shop vac the pine needles out of the carpet (those nasty littlle clingers) LOL. I do cover it but some how they get in there guess Im gonna have to get a fitted cover for it but I have to get the $$$ up for the new bimini top first . I just cant decide if I should get vinyl or arcrylic for the top material (hope I said it right ) so here are some pics for now . BTW If anyone is having issues not catching fish I might suggest naming your boat , I was told by a local old timer round my area that an un-named boat wont catch anything much , hope he was right cause Im gonna find out Tue night , bummer is I gotta work Mon and Tue but got Wed off and back to work for WEd -SAt .
Thanks for all the great posts and advice from everyone

Pines needles suck, that's why a vac has trouble. LOL How did you support the outrigger platform. It looks pretty functional to my eye. I'm putting the name on my SC right now. And I thought I was fishing in the Dead Sea.

I will get some close ups for you but I made them myself @ work , basically I took two pieces of solid 2"aluminum round stock that were 3" in length and drilled and tapped the center to 5/8" x11 to hold them tight together and aligned properly the using aluminum rod for my stick welder , welded them together then turned them down in a lathe to a matching size (about 1.5" I think) (also I trimmed them to length on the lathe before screwing them together and welding them. I cut the bottom and top mounting plates out of 1/4" aluminum sheet to fit the areas they were to be mounted too and then I attached them to the posts with 1/4 x 20 counter sunk flat heads . BTW all Ss hardware I might add LOL I might still have the CAD drawing I made some where .
