Can anyone tell me if there is a different fuel connector for a '68 Kiekhaefer Mercury 110? It's a 9.8 hp. The one that I bought that says it's for a Mercury, is to big to go into the hole on the front of the motor. If there is a different one, where can I find it?
Thanks

If it is the type that pushs in and twists, and it probably is, make sure it a factory mercury fitting. I have seen others that are bulky. Nothing fits like original equipment. dgs

Hi Lance
There are two sizes, large and small. You need the small size.

The older small (9.8hp & under) Mercs used a minature version of the standard Merc twist-connect. I think they're still available from Mercury - might start at your local dealer - but be prepared for sticker shock ($30+). Might get lucky and find a friendly dealer who's got some used ones kicking around. Maybe slip the guys in the shop some coffee and donuts some morning and see if they'll look for you...
- Scott
