1968 mercury 3.9 hp red band cannot find telltale peeho;le

MY fatheers engine started right up cannot find hose or pee hole where water should be coming out...

just installed a new impeller

SN 244xxxx shows it a 1968 red band all the videos on youtube show water stream ..... but no view under the cowl

any help or photo apprecaited much thanks

I believe there's an outlet hold directly under the rear of the belly pan on those little singles.

There is a hole in the bottom cowl no hose or connection to water jacket i can find

theres an exhaust hole dead center rear but all the videos i saw that is exhaust only



the peehole is on the tiller side

there is flush plug on opoosite side.... i can see where it is ported to the the jacket

however when i flush it all runs out the water intake in the Anti ventilation plate
