1969 20HP Johnson. 1/8" hose connection near Fuel pump. Connects to?

I am restoring a 1969 20HP Johnson. I rebuilt the carburetor and now see a 1/8 hose which attaches to a nipple which is underneath one of the coils about 2 " and near the carburetor. It is about 16 inches long and ends up near the fuel pump. Can someone tiell me where that end goes?

It there a Nipple down low on the crankcase?

I found it. The nipple still had part of the rubber hose on it. It was near the shifting lever.behind the selinoid.
