HI I need help will a 1968 selectric lower unit fit a 1969 55hp johnson?<br />they are both electrtic shfit and it looks the same <br />and ideas?

My manual says it will if, they are the same length shafts and 55 hp

yes they are both 55hp and the same leangth.<br />it's just the evinrude version of the same motor.<br />thank you for your help I found this one on ebay an the one on mine won't shift.
