Hey guys after getting the trans working today I was over looking over unit to find the set pin rusted almost through (for lack of better terms, they're are 4 holes drilled into the plate that holds the motor, this pin can fit in any of the 4 to change the hight of the unit), and also the pin that holds the shocks is almost rusted through as well. What would I be asking for when I go to purchase these items?

Also is there a way to modify the tilt to electric, or hydraulic assist (even retro-fit another model into it, say from a junk yard instead of buying the CNC new unit)? Has anyone done this mod? The out-drive is VERY tight going up and down, takes maybe 2 people I am sure thats not normal but its been sitting like 8 years! Is it possible to scrap the shocks and add pistons in there to do the work of tilting the motor?

Its model # 115983e

Thanks in advance for the help!

the motor needs to be greased. the cost of conversion is more than the motor is worth. replace the rusted items. and got boating.

I have been looking at used hydro lifts on ebay, different models/years/styles, no one has ever retro fitted a unit onto there engine? Doesn't seem to be impossible!

Any ideas on what those pins are called?
