1969 Evinrude V4 85Hp starflight 85993 tilt?

I have had this outboard for 2 years.... question do they have any type of tilt assist... the outboard is really heavy i gotta put alot of power to pull it out the water when going into shallows or pulling out the boat. I know theres no power tilt for this year but is there any type of tilt assist?

There was? Im going through the owners manual .
Im in Port-credit Lake ontario GTA.
Do you have a part number by anychance?
