I'm guessing my 25 hp Johnson is a 1969 (model 25R69D) Correct?

Can I hook up a water flusher to this fella? With a quick rookie inspection I only saw what I was guessing was vent holes on one side of the lower unit on a level with the prop.

Also, what spark plugs and oil mix?

Hey Bo...how ya' doin'?

No place to hook up muffs on yer' engine. Water intake is on the tab hangin' just in back of the prop. Want to run her on dry land, put her in a garbage can full of water. Make sure the water level is above the mating line between the lower unit and midsection. Try not to rev her over 1500rpms.

Fuel mix is 50:1...16oz oil to 6 gallons of gas.

Spark plugs are Champions J4J's. Set them at 030.

Enjoy.

Hi Bo
You can buy a special flush attachment for you motor. The water pick-up is located on the skeg behind the prop. If I were you I'd just use a trash can,etc for a test tank.
