i was wondering when i should change my lu gaskets.is it ok to do it in the winter?or should i what for the spring?im in new england and dont want to weather damage the engine if i start to work on it now.have a great manuel so im thinking i should change it before it starts ruining any thing.(lu oil gettin watery by the end of the season)is this a hard job?where can i get the kit?any help would be great thanks everyone.its the push button controls if that matters any. ***1971 18'winner 1969 115jonny*

If it's letting water in, definitely at least drain out the old fluid before it freezes and cracks the casting. <br /><br />Is the fluid getting milky? <br /><br />You won't hurt it a bit by working on it in the winter. If any questions, give a shout "jslobvan AT comcast.net" (replace AT with @).
