Could anyone tell where to get a fuel pimp and what kind for a 1969 merc 1000 thunderbolt?

Most people simply rebuild thier engines pumps the number for the kit is 21-30340A1 your engine takes 2.

Laddies had a typo, the number is 21-30430A1. That is the same one I bought two of for my motor. It's called "valve kit - check" and has the diaphragm, gaskets and two check valves. Buy 2 and you'll be set.

Thank you. Being a nurse and not mechanic, what do the pumps look like or where are they located. I can do this, just need an idea. Do the kits come with diagrams or instructions? Also, do you know what the tube is coming off the side of the distributor cap is?
